Bluebird Plastic Emulsion Usability/Application Guide

Bluebird Plastic Emulsion is a premium, 100% acrylic-based interior paint, designed for all masonry surfaces. Featuring advanced Organic White Technology, this emulsion offers superior opacity and coverage, outperforming standard paints. It’s available in both Casual and Color Fast Tinters, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting color and a smooth, even finish for your interior spaces.

3. Priming

Priming can enhance the adhesion and performance of Bluebird Plastic Emulsion:

  • Primer Selection: For porous or newly plastered surfaces, applying a suitable primer or sealer is recommended to create a uniform base for the emulsion.
  • Benefits: Priming helps seal the surface, preventing excessive absorption of the paint and ensuring consistent coverage.
  • Drying Time: Allow the primer to dry for at least 4-6 hours (or per manufacturer’s recommendations) before applying Bluebird Plastic Emulsion.

6. Clean-up and Ventilation

Proper clean-up and ventilation are essential for maintaining a high-quality finish:

    • Clean-up: Since Bluebird Plastic Emulsion is water-based, clean brushes, rollers, and tools with soap and water immediately after use. For any spills, wipe them up with a damp cloth while the paint is still wet.
    • Ventilation: Ensure good ventilation during application, especially in enclosed areas. Open windows or use fans to keep air circulating, which will also help the paint dry faster.
    • Drying Time: While the paint may dry to the touch within a few hours, allow at least 24 hours for full curing before exposing the surface to wear or cleaning.
